Recently, we had the opportunity to join the Waterloo Christmas Market as outdoor vendors for the first time. Unlike the indoor markets we’ve attended, this new challenge was uncertain, but it was a genuinely wonderful experience✨.
Once again, our wooden candle holders were a hit and warmly welcomed by many visitors. The classic German wooden toys we showcased also proved to be very popular. One customer shared fond memories, saying, “This toy reminds me of the times I played with my father,” which warmed our hearts. Items that can be enjoyed across generations truly hold a special place😊.
The market wasn’t just about selling products; we were fortunate to have conversations with so many wonderful people. From a high school student studying abroad from South America to a couple who have lived in Waterloo for decades, families who look forward to this event every year, and even a parent and child who visited us daily – we were deeply touched by everyone’s kindness and smiles.
Thanks to these lovely visitors, including those who stopped by every day, shared kind words about our products, or brought us delicious treats, the three days were filled with joy and laughter😊.
Through this experience, we realized the importance of building connections with the local community and fellow vendors. We are deeply grateful to the staff who organized and managed this fantastic event – thank you so much!
